In August 2005, Celestial Pictures decided to participate in the Beijing TV Exhibition and host a press conference to meet a large group of local media for the first time.

Challenges

  • Celestial Pictures has speeded its move in China by establishing a movie channel in 2004, the news of Celestial Pictures penetrating in China¡¯s TV business has been released.
  • The main purpose for the client to host a press conference was to announce its participation in the exhibition which can not make a news angle.

Solution

Recommended client utilizing a famous movie star by granting her with a original historical poster. In this way we have attracted entertainment media to the event.

Recommended client focusing on business information that attract business and general media to cover the press conference.

Result

A total of 46 reporters participated in the press conference. We have collected 43 clippings from general, business, entertainment, and online media.
